Hello,

Is it possible to extract the last published document path for a map service? In the server manager we can find the original documents file path- but that is not as helpful as we would like to be able to see which file was last published for that service and where it resides. Since our services can be overwritten by other team members it would be extremely beneficial information.

Thanks!

Hi Hayleigh,

These can be found in the following location:

<ArcGISServerContentDrive>\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisinput\<nameOfService>\v101

Please be mindful that this file is modified by ArcGIS Server when publishing/republishing. The ArcGIS Pro project/Desktop Mapping document is copied to this location when publishing (along with a service definition).

Don't open the file from this location as it prevents any republishing (with a file lock), I found out the hardway 🙂 Copy it to another location to inspect!
