Real-world Problem: In Urban Search & Rescue we need to quickly turn raw information into actionable intelligence. One common workflow is receiving an address or coordinate where someone is in distress and needs rescue or evacuation.
Technical Problem: Currently in Experience Builder the user would need to use the search widget, type in an address / coordinate - THEN - open the edit widget and place a new point at that location.
Proposed Solution: Create a trigger / action that allows the end user to quickly type an address and send it to the edit widget for adding a feature.
Currently this requires 3 or more clicks in Experience Builder.
This already works in Field Maps and is easy to use.
Also it looks like there are triggers from Search to other widgets like "Near Me" (labeled as Impact below).
I understand this may not be easy to build into Experience Builder and might need to be built into Web Map Viewer / core functionality. In any case, the fewer the clicks the better and if there is a workaround or best practice I am open to other approaches!
