Can the near me tool be configured for llayers not currently within the map

Hi there, 

 

Is there antway the near me tool be configured for data that is no within the current map? 

 

At a glance it doesnt look like it can but just wanted to confirm for if anyone has tried to do this ?

Hi @EdHixson 

The Near Me Widget or experience builder does not have this functionality, as mentioned in the below extract from the Near Me Widget documentation you need to have data associated to a map widget in order to utilise the widget: 

"This widget requires connection to a Map widget. The Map widget must be connected to a data source with at least one feature layer."

The Near Me Widget or experience builder does not have this functionality, as mentioned in the below extract from the Near Me Widget documentation you need to have data associated to a map widget in order to utilise the widget: 

"This widget requires connection to a Map widget. The Map widget must be connected to a data source with at least one feature layer."
