License issue with Parallels.

Hi. I recently installed ArGIS Desktop 10.1 as a single user (Educational license). I installed it on a Windows Bootcamp partition on my Mac. Today, I attempted to access it via Parallels (version 9, if it matters), pointed at the same partition, so i could copy and paste into Word and my email as required for my class. When I launched the app, I received an error message telling me I needed to repair my license through the ArcGIS Administrator.

I have a few questions.

1) I assume that ArcGIS sees the Parallels virtual machine as an entirely new computer to which the current application is not licensed. Is that correct?

2) Is there any easy workaround for this, or do I have to choose one?

3) If I do have to choose one, how would I go about transferring the license key? Would I just deauthorize the license while booted into Bootcamp, then reauthorize it when I boot through Parallels? I'm a little hesitant to do that, because I have weekly assignments and I can't afford to have something go wrong with the license.

Thank you in advance for any help.
