Vector tile popups in Explorer?

I'm working on an offline map for use in Explorer and hoped to use vector tile popups. I had them working in Pro but tapping a feature in Explorer does nothing. Am I missing something, or is this not implemented?

The main advantage would be significantly reducing the size of the .mmpk when compared to adding operational layers (with invisible symbology) for features users will click on. My test .mmpk is 162mb and an equivalent .vtpk is 36mb. The app I plan to replace with Explorer packs far more information into a file that's 145mb.

My target platform is iOS, plus Windows 10 when that's out of beta.

Tyler,

Set Pop-up source for Vector Tile Packages is not supported in a Mobile Map Package.  This is something we will consider supporting for a future release.

Mark,

I am not having simple pop-ups work in Explorer either. Should they work if they are from the tile cache, not from a service/other source?

Thanks,

Ally

Ally,

There is no popup support for  TPK, TPKX or VTPK files.

What would you like to be able to see in a popup from tiles?

thanks,
