Our symbology contains a lot of green and blue and sometimes layers are on top of other layers containing data symbolized in blue or green.
When users search or select a feature on the map in Field Maps, the default color for highlighting the feature is blue as well (#7CF8FA)  and the contrast with the selected feature is very low. In the office we can see the difference on our desktops, but our mobile field workers complain that they don't see the selected feature and we think this is caused by the low contrast between the selected feature and the highlight color.

As a solution, we would like to configure the highlight color in the Field Maps webapplication on Portal and save this configuration on the webmap. We can choose a color which has good contrast with our symbology and this will be applied to the specific webmap.

This could look like this on the field maps web app:

and the Color should be clickable to show a color picker and the configured color must then be used to highlight features in Field Maps App

I would also like to see a couple of quality of life elements like this added to the mobile app.

On occasion the symbology implemented by the map creator is not optimal for the field worker and even some basic symbology options in the app would be helpful. (One time the point symbology actually disappeared and the user working out of cell phone range had no way of restoring any kind of symbology to the points, therefore couldn't see them!)

A safeguard in the field map settings if you don't want to enable (e.g. a checkbox "Allow symbology changes in mobile app".)

Even if it's just a few basic shapes colors this ability could really help out a field user from time to time.
