Been using version 370 for some time to load aerial images into AutoCAD, then crop & save those images for each specific job. Currently testing the new version 400.2 & it appears that feature has been completely removed. Is this correct?

Its really important to have that export ability as working with huge images continually loading & updating in the background absolutely kills AutoCAD.

If this is correct, are there any other work arounds?

Thanks.

Hi! The export feature is still in ArcGIS for AutoCAD. It can be done from the Contents pane.
If you right click on a layer in the TOC you can select the "extract" option. This will create a .png of the maps current view and insert it into your drawing.

You can also use the dynamic mode on/off from the TOC to stop the map from updating dynamically without having to extract.

Thanks for that, really appreciate it.

Shame there's no obvious button.
