So recently we came across an issue where the ESRI for PBI desktop plug in was having trouble geocoding addresses both via AGOL and Enterprise. Now sometimes an organization can have multiple geolocators and an in house geolocator is preferred and so on top of the geolocator list as it does not cost any credits.
Anyways so a couple of meetings with ESRI helped narrowed down the cause which was that the PBI plugin uses the first geolocator in the list of geolocators being used and so was unable to use our own geolocator.
So it would be really helpful if the PBI plugin could use geolocators other than the standard ones as it wouldn't cost any credits. 🙂
