Our IT guy and myself have installed ArcGIS for Sharepoint and are pretty excited about the options. One thing both of us were surprised by was that there seems to be no easy way to set the location of a document by simply zooming in and clicking on a location on a map in sharepoint which then automatically inserts the lat/long in the document metadata for location purposes. As the Bay of Plenty Regional Council in New Zealand did this with Mapobjects in another document management system a few years ago and as anyone who used it loved the feature it seems counter-intuitive to have to run geocoders (although good feature as well) to simply locate a document on a map when you have a map to set a location on. Am I missing something?
