ArcGIS Hub Discussion Boards are coming!
Hello Hubbers!
We hope you have all found the discussion feature (released last fall) to be valuable for collaboration and communication. Numerous enhancements, including continual enhancements such as reactions and inline moderation have been added since the initial launch to further improve your experience.
So, you must be wondering, what is next?
Glad you asked! Our team has been working hard to take discussions to the next level. We are excited to share that you will soon have access to our latest capability, discussion boards.
So, what exactly are these discussion boards?
Discussion boards are online experiences for you to exchange ideas, ask questions, and share knowledge. These discussion boards provide a dedicated space for users to engage in discussions, seek advice, and stay updated on various initiatives. They will be available for Hub Premium users. Let’s dive into the key features and benefits.
User-Friendly Interface:
Discussion boards come with a user-friendly interface, making it easy for participants to navigate and engage in discussions. Users can create new threads and reply to existing posts with ease.
Location-based discussion:
You can set up allowed areas on a map while setting up the discussion board to keep the discussion content focused.
Private and Public Boards:
Users can set up boards for private or public collaboration. Giving you more control on how and with whom you want to share your data and collaborate.
So, what do I do after the launch?
As always, once you get your hands on this new capability, we would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and innovative ideas on how to further enhance this feature through ArcGIS Hub Ideas board in Esri Community.
