I am getting a strange error when attempting to start an image service based on a mosaic dataset. The full error is:
Configuration Framework/Imagery_Mosaic2000.ImageServer can not be started. Server Object instance creation failed on machine wpsiswebl05. Can't load format DLL
The error only occurs when I try to publish two of my three mosaic datasets, the third dataset can be started with no problems.
Has anyone heard of this error? I've turned up absolutely no results when searching for this error on the forums (or google).
This is an old one, but I ran into this problem when I tried to start an Image Service on ArcGIS Server 10 using a mosaic created with ArcMap 10.1... When I recreated the mosaic (within the same Geodatabase) in ArcMap 10.0 things worked fine.
