How can I edit a template which was downloaded from GitHub?

I have used an ESRI template which was downloaded from GitHub and I want (a) to change the dimensions or position of the frame which includes the title and (d) to add more widgets.

Do you know any course that I can participate (free or payable) for webgis (I need more knowledge about the "designing part" like the correct symbology, etc.) and particularly for web appbuilder (I know the basics but I need more knowledge mostly for css and html parts)??

I leave in Greece so anything e-learning is acceptable.
