Dojo 2 Roadmap - Dojo Toolkit

It appears that Dojo 2 will be built TypeScript. How it will impact ArcGIS JS API ? Currently 4.x version is undergoing major changes. Will  ArcGIS JS API have major breaking changes because of Dojo 2?

Roger,

Dojo2 is still SO far away from being ready that it is not a issue. The majority of it is in Alpha or planning phase. The TypeScript thing is not an issue at all as the JS API supports that now. ESRI also works closely with the Dojo team, so they will not be caught off guard by anything concerning Dojo.

As of this writing the majority of the packages for dojo 2 is in Beta. The typings used for JS API are deprecated in typings, and the @types NPM version is not compatible with the DefinetlyTyped version. This is becoming an issue.
