Map volcanic activity using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Living Atlas has just been updated. This blog tutorial has swapped the Sentinel-2 Level-2A Living Atlas service for the previous Sentinel-2 service. The difference? Sentinel-2 has a shelf life of 14 months, meaning that imagery over 14 months old is overwritten. Sentinel-2 Level-2A imagery is archived without being overwritten, and dates back to 2015.
