For my notes: This question was originally posted to the Community Feedback page. But it looks like a moderator moved it to AGOL Questions.

Regarding the ArcGIS Code Sharing website: https://codesharing.arcgis.com/

I'm having an issue with the UPLOAD SCRIPTS button; the link seems to be dead:

I clicked the Leave Feedback button, which brought me to the Esri Community page.

So my question is:

Could the Upload Scripts link be fixed?

Thanks.

Esri Case 03556400: ArcGIS Code Sharing website — Upload Scripts link is dead

...the ArcGIS Code Sharing website is being phased out. This site is a search UI to find code within ArcGIS Online but it is no longer maintained. Your code can still be shared normally in ArcGIS Online as an item. The team recommended sharing your code in the Esri Channel repositories which you can still maintain since it will work as a GitHub repository:

I don’t really buy that answer from Esri. It looks like users are still uploading scripts somehow.

If I click on the most recent scripts, I can see that several were uploaded just yesterday:

From @DanPatterson in Publicly share custom GP tool with the community:

...it is hard to find stuff on github or arcgis online unless you get the right combination of keywords

and a small code snippet or toolbox probably won't be shared by someone not willing to set up a github site
