Best practices for sending data from ArcGIS Online to ArcMap 10?
Currently, I only know of one way and that is to add the web map as a layer in ArcMap using the ArcGIS Online window of the File menu. Even this doesn't seem to work completely-only the ESRI basemap (specifically Bing Maps Aerial) is added to ArcMap. I know more data existsbecause a shapefile was uploaded to the map upon creation and further editted using ArcGIS Online. Did I miss a step when creating the map in ArcGIS Online? Esri have another way of converting this data back to ArcMap?
