A user is having problems loading the World Imagery basemap in ArcMap 10.3. Using the Add Basemap icon, he is able to select it from the ArcOnline Basemap menu. However, after clicking Add, nothing appears in the table of contents aside from the newly created Basemap group, which is empty and can't be expanded.
Note that he is able to add the basemap by connecting to the arcgisonline server in Catalog and dragging and dropping it into the map.
Has anyone run into this issue or have tips on how to fix it?
