Can I use google maps in web apps?

Hi,

I have developed some applications using web appbuilder and ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. I was wondering if there is a way to use google maps (street, terrain, imagery) as basemaps in my web apps instead of using Esri´s default basemaps. Is this possible? if so, I would appreciate any ideas, links, or tutorials about this...maybe with the use of some API, but i dont know much about it.

There are some resources out there but there isn't an 'easy' answer to this question. Maybe Esri should have an FAQ document on this type of question since it is asked so frequently.
