Open ArcGIS Online to a service specifying an extent in URL

What are all the URL parameters available for ArcGIS Online? For instance, I want to open some map service in ArcGIS Online to a particular location. Can I pass in the extents on the URL string?

For example...
This takes me to the extent of the map service.
http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?url=http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Terrain_Base/MapServer&source=sd

But what I would like to do is pass in a bounding box of some location to be taken to. Like this.
http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?url=http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Terrain_Base/MapServer&source=sd&bbox=-13052731.140540577,4032405.59495261,-13036679.36460071,4040326.382008651&bboxSR=102100

Notice the bbox and SR parameters

Hi Jeff,

I'm not sure I've seen the bbox or sr parameters used, but we do document supported parameters for use with ArcGIS.com in KB 38320.

Hope that helps,
Andrew

Andrew - has ArcGIS Online been updated to support a time extent on the URL? It's not mentioned in KB38320 but not sure that doc is up-to-date anyways.

I would like to open ArcGIS Online passing in a URL to a time aware layer and a time extent. Is it possible?

Jeff,

Time extents are not supported as URL parameters. It's an interesting idea though.

Thanks,

Mike
