I have published a map to ArcGIS Online using 10.1. I changed some layers in my map and want to republish it. Using the Share as Service - Overwrite an existing service I was able to go through the steps to keep the map and metadata but publish the updated data. All looks good until I go to open the updated Feature Service and then I get a "The layer, ........, cannot be added to the map" message.
Under My Content I can see a Feature Service with an updated Modified date. I also have a Service Definition with an updated Modified date but I also have a Service Definition with a modified date of the first time I published it.
Any help would be great as I am needing to update some maps today that I will be presenting tomorrow.
