Pop-up not appearing in app

Hi there, I've built an app in Web Experience builder (https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/299ccde28277445e9d50e379998704b3), which includes data captured from Survey 123. I've added the resultant data as layers into the map and app, and configured pop-ups to display the simplified data. However, although the layer appears with small point symbols, the pop-ups don't open in the app. The odd thing is that if I open the app from within AGOL, where I'm signed in, they do, which suggests it is something to do with permissions, but as far as I can see everything is shared with the world. Are there other settings I'm missing somewhere?

Furthermore, as a test I built a second version in WAB, and this works with the pop-ups opening as expected. (https://historicengland.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=f41d2f26f6aa46f498afc0b33dcb...)

In fact, that's not entirely true, as there are issues with the attached images, but that's a separate matter. The main point is why the pop-ups don't appear at all.

I hope someone can help.

The issue looks like the survey layer does not have query capabilities. If you look at the survey hosted feature layer you will see under the service supported operation there is no query capability. A non owner or admin would not get a popup.

I believe its related to this

Hi Russ,

Thanks for that. It's not very intuitive and makes for extra work. I'm also not entirely sure how much editing control I've had to give, but at least people should be able to see stuff they add.

Thanks

That would require the users to be signed in and using editor tracking setting. Without that there isn't a way to know which features were created by who.
