Trying to upload a 3D scene from another product. It gave me a .slpk file which I uploaded to ArcGIS online (in hopes of opening it in ArcPro). The file is very large and when I try to open the scene viewer, I keep getting Scene service is missing root node.

The service could still be being cooked. Did you refresh the page or open the item in a new tab/window?  When you do this the item loses the jobid so it will show the open buttons being active while the item itself is still being cooked. If thats not the case the building of the scene cache could of failed. If possible can you share the scene layer package with me? You can put it in a group and invite russell_jsapi into it and I can check it out.
