Parcel management requires input of lengthy metes and bounds cadastral and deed data. When checking closure and finding irregularities, having course callouts numbered in the COGO traverse was so very useful in Arcmap. Why can't ESRI enumerate course callouts in Arcpro for better tracking of errors found within a legal description?

Hi Tyler, I am new to reading deed legals and COGO'ing them, but they haven't moved us to Pro yet. But I very much agree with you, that it is very helpful when each traverse is numbered, as it gives a visual reference to see where we are at and be able to look back at it when we are done. Also, for me, it would be helpful to be able to select a line or multiple COGO lines and have the distance (ft) labeled of the COGO line(s). This helps when I show the Abstractor of Title that the Deed's Legal Description has an issue. Maybe one day they will make a software that will help read legals in conjunction with GIS software. May not plot perfect, but sure will be nice.
