I know the parcel lineage link chart feature just came out but I thought of an idea for a future release. Like it was said during the Meetup yesterday, the link chart display can get messy. For parcel lineage display purposes, I think it would be really useful if the link chart window had a timeline feature somewhere to show moments in time when the record occurred. This would make it easier to see when splits and combinations occurred and in what order. I get a lot of questions from co-workers and the public about when a parcel retired and what parcels were created at that time. This would be a great feature to reduce research time.
I have been excited for this feature and the potential improvement in future releases, so kudos to the team for getting this implemented. I have another idea about putting the lineage feature into an AGO webmap so others in our organization can access it as well, but I'm not sure if that idea should be posted here or another place.
