Lock screen while backup in progress

I love the backup option. With how many times even ArcGIS Pro crashes, it has already saved me a lot of time.

However, I realised that while a backup file is being saved, the screen doesn't "lock" like it does for example when you are saving your project. This means you can click on anything. Problem is, it isn't selected. Afterwards, it goes straight back to whatever was selected before.

My virtual remote desktop displays a tab on top of the middle of the screen, right over the Project Info, where the [Backup in progress] is being displayed. I usually don't see when it is happening, and get frustrated because I click on things and they are not reacting. Or I remove or edit the wrong layer because I thought I selected the correct one, not realising the backup is in progress.

Since I can't really continue work anyway, I would prefer a little box to appear, telling me clearly that a backup is happening, so that I know I need to wait 15 seconds. Alternatively / else I would prefer not being able to click on anything so that it doesn't pretend to change the selection (like a grey out or similar).

It will save me a lot of frustration of "why does this not work???" and "why is the wrong layer gone and the one I wanted to throw out still here???".
