Recently encountered a situation where scores of attribute tables in a feature dataset had to be unchecked for " Read Only" Property. This was done manually , resulting in valuable time.
Option : Include " Table properties" tab in the feature dataset level in addition to existing Coordinate system , Domain , Resolution and Tolerance tabs. This tab should be able to Display Featureclass Tables and Stand alone tables in the Geodatabase, with the list of Field values and a Check/uncheck option for (a) Highlight field (b) Turn field off and (c) Make field read only as options.
