In ArcGIS Pro, the Delete Field tool displays field aliases, sorted in alphabetical order. The problem is the tables I want to delete fields from have several autogenerated fields. It's easy for me to pick out the autogenerated fields if I can see the field names listed in the same order they appear in the table. However, using a sorted list of field aliases means I have to go through each value and pick out which ones were autogenerated (which I want to delete) vs which ones I created (which I want to keep).
The Delete Field tool was changed in Pro 2.9 to use a list of checkboxes as the control, and the fields are ordered the same as the attribute table (controlled through the field order which can be set in the Fields view).
