Use the Catalog item properties window and the geoprocessing pane at the same time

I have workflows where I want to have the Catalog item properties window open while also filling out parameters in a geoprocessing tool.

However, when the properties window is open, it has exclusive focus in the application; the rest of the application isn't clickable. So I would need to close the properties window in order to work in the geoprocessing pane, which is cumbersome.

For example,

I want to use the extents from an existing BOUNDARY FC as the extents when registering a database view with a geodatabase.

Copy the values of the extents from the FC properties:

Paste into a text editor like Notepad:

I manually typed the words "Top:", "Bottom:", "Left:", and "Right:" in order to keep track of the coordinates, since the order in the properties window is inconsistent with GP tools.

Close the properties window (to unlock the Geoprocessing Pane).

Copy the text from Notepad into the Register with Geodatabase geoprocessing tool parameters:

Complete.

That process is clunky.

It would be great if I could have the properties window open and work in the geoprocessing pane at the same time. That would let me copy text from the properties window directly into GP tool parameters.

It seems like the Properties window is one of the few remaining ArcMap-style popup windows where the window steals focus from the rest of the application. The rest of ArcGIS Pro is in panes and views that can be used simultaneously. Maybe it's time to migrate the properties window to a window style that's more consistent with Pro, such as a view, or something similar? Alternatively, it could still be an undocked window in the middle of the screen, just like it is now, but don't make it steal focus from the rest of the application.

I currently do things like this via screenshots from the Snip tool, which is equally functional-yet-clunky.

Assuming that this isn't an "easier-said-than-done" issue, I'd second this request.
