Hello. I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1, and have extracted forest canopy features from multispectral data and converted to polygons. There are some scattered pieces of canopy which I wish to 'Group By Proximity' with larger canopy polygons, but I do NOT want the larger canopy polygons to group with eachother regardless of their proximity.
I hope to use the 'Group By Proximity' tool to group features by 'Geodesic Near' '.3 US Survey Feet, and would like to add some code to the 'Attribute Relationship' which prevents features with 'area_sqft' <400 from grouping with other features with 'area_sqft' which also have values <400. The layer name is 'DF_under_8ft_poly'
I'm hoping that there might be a GIS wizard out there somewhere who can help me write that line of code.
If there is another tool that might perform this function more efficiently, I'm also very open to guidance about that!
