Has anyone else experienced this issue and have a resolution?  Pro is pretty much useless at this point.

Can anyone else log into the machine and launch Pro with no issues?

Has it worked in the past? If so, what has changed (if known)?

Can you run the tool here: Can You Run It?  and post the results.

I'm having these issues constantly on random operations from opening/closing a layout or map, opening legend properties, etc.  Frustrated!!!

PS.  I've updated to 2.2.2.  And before it is asked I have more than enough power to run the software, and I have updated my graphics card last week.

Are you creating your aprx file brand new or are you importing an mxd into the aprx so as not to have to duplicate work that has already been done in ArcMap?

I have a template that has a series of layouts created.  I believe it was started by importing mxds.

Do you see this same hanging behavior if you do not import mxds into the aprx?  This would just be a test to rule out the importation of data and features from ArcMap as the problem.  Sometimes starting fresh without all the baggage from an old system prevents these types of issues.

Jade, is ArcGIS Pro still not working?  Have you tried opening a case with technical support to troubleshoot the issue?  It seems like that might be a more productive route to look into this.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have been having the same problem for the past 7 months. I have done multiple cases with an ESRI tech and no solution yet. This started happening ever since I started using a SQL database. I am on version 3.1.4.
