Offline mode on webmaps/ feature layers

Hi All,

A group of students and I are currently running into a few webmap issues using ArcGIS Pro.

Despite following all online guidelines in enabling sync and offline modes in the configuration panel, it seems that none of our webmaps on Collector actually get offline enabled, i.e. the download and synchronise buttons do not appear. All feature layers are present and data can be added and edited in Collector - just without the offline function.

Is this a known bug or does the whole group do something wrong here?

Are you using Vector Tile basemaps? I encountered similar issue as current version of Collector still requires the older raster basemaps for offline (downloading) use.

Hi All, we got to the bottom of this particular problem. In case someone is experiencing the same:

It appears that you need to create an additional, new map and then add previously published web layers for each Collector upload in order to enable offline mode and sync. Or in other words: producing a webmap from the map you produced your weblayer from does not work.

Is this issue known to the developers? Or just a bug?
