Polygons shifting when deleting vertices with map topology enabled

I'm editing polygons in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.3, and when I delete vertices in a map topology enabled edit, the edited polygons will shift over a significant amount. I don't know when this started, but the last time I did major editing was either 3.1.1 or 3.1.2. The only difference now is that I know there are still floating edges without adjacent polygons elsewhere.

I have attached a photo of the movement demonstrated between two common edges that were not involved in the most recent edit.

It seems to have happened because I was working in NAD27 for the sake of my historical data, and the file I'm editing is being projected on the fly from NAD83. When I match the map projection to the feature projection the shifting stops.
