"Select Features on the Screen" in ArcGIS Pro?

I use the "Select Features on the Screen" tool extensively in ArcGIS Desktop. Does that tool exist in ArcGIS Pro?

No it does not. But the context menu in Pro offers selection at any point in time when hovering over the map- drawing a rectangle 🙂

Based on your screenshot there, I still don't see the tool I am seeking, slynch-esristaff. Please see the screenshot that I uploaded. "Select Features on Screen" is a specific selection tool that exists in ArcGIS Desktop.

Click on the Select icon and then on the map do the same as what you did in Desktop

The select on screen is not a default on, you added it to one of your toolbars.  It is not in the current list of options that can be used or added in Pro 2.0.  Curtis is right about using draw by rectangle as the selector since the behaviour is essentially mimicked by it.
