Thanks for the answer.

I decided to open this question because the new company I'm working for uses Fragstats or Biodinamica UFMG for biodiversity analysis and, in this case, Fragstats only uses measurements in meters and is reading degrees as meters. The last time I used Fragstats was in college and it recognized ArcMap 10.4 normally.

You should be using projected data then, so use the above links to move forward.
