Splitting all polylines at intersections

I am trying to create a new layer which merges my street centerline with my driveway layer. Next, I want to have each segment split at every intersection. Below I show what happens once I combined the layer. The street centerline does not break at every intersection into a new segment.

What I want instead of the one long segment that passes by several driveways, is to have multiple segments, which changes at every driveway juncture. Below shows what I'd like to be able to select.

After running the Merge tool, I ran the Intersect tool to create a point layer showing where the junctures between segments occurred. With the intersections showing below, is there an automated way or tool that I am missing that will split the segment at those intersections as defined below?

I tried Data Management Tool (split line at point), but that didn't work. Is there another tool out there that would work better?

Hi,

It seems you've already tried a common method using the Intersect tool to generate points at intersections and the Data Management Tool to split the lines. If the 'Split Line at Point' tool didn't achieve the desired outcome, there could be several reasons, such as the points not being exactly on the lines or tolerance settings.

1. Double-check that the points created by the Intersect tool are exactly on the line features. Any slight misalignment can cause the 'Split Line at Point' tool not to work as expected. You can use topology rules to ensure that your streets and driveways are perfectly intersecting. The "Must Not Have Dangles" rule can help to ensure that lines intersect correctly.

2. Try using the (Planarize polyline features), which can split lines at every intersection they have with other lines.https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/planarize-polyline-features.htm#:~:text=Contro...

3. Try using the (Split Line at Vertices) tool, which may achieve the segmentation you’re looking for.https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/split-line-at-vertices.htm#:...

Yes, there is a tool that will split at all intersections.  It's the Planarize polyline features tool in the Modify Features pane.  You can read more about it here.

Thank you all! What worked for me was the Planarize tool! That was very helpful, since I was not familiar with it.
