Is there a way to find out when satellite imagery is taken? I have looked all through the World Imagery (Firefly) layer properties in Arc Pro but can't see anything.

I am from New Zealand and making a map with a river mouth in it. River mouth boundaries are constantly changing over time. It would be good for the client to know when the imagery was taken.

I expect that the World Imagery firefly basemap would be the same as the World Imagery basemap when zoomed in. Do some spot checks to confirm. You can then check the date of the world imagery basemap by adding World Imagery tile layer from the Living Atlas. You can then get the date via pop-ups.

Sentinel imagery might be useful to see how river mouths looks now - latest imagery is usually only a few days old. https://sentinel2explorer.esri.com/
