hello,
im new to arcgis development, and i want to be able to integrate a desktop application with the arcgis server
what i want to do is
1. determine a particular area from the backend server and download it locally to the desktop machine/ tablet
2. be able to make updates the features like points for example
3. do map operations like zooming, identify, panning, gps location...etc
4. reflects the updates to the server application
how i can cover these points? i knew from the SDK that i have to mainpulate with map packages (*mpk) for offline data access , so how i can reflect my offline chanes to the server ?
