Hi all! I am working with two sets of data 1) land cover classes and 2) medical site data (point) to establish the percentage of land cover classes within each LSOA, and the number of medical sites within each LSOA. As the number of LSOAs I am trying to establish counts for are ~500, I am unable to manually use select-by-attribute.

1) Land cover data - It is vector data, and I have changed the value field in symbology to present 'mode' which is the land cover class values. I wondered if the best solution would be to combine the LSOA and WS_LandCover_2021 layers. I attempted using Intersect to do this, but the attribute table almost duplicates rows of the same LSOA (eg. Adur001A) with the same land cover class value (eg. mode: 21). Could I get advice on why this may be happening, or an alternative method that would work better?

2) Medical Site data - Likewise with the land cover data, I am unsure of the best method to 'extract' the number of medical points within each LSOA?

Thank you in advance!

1. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/analysis-toolbox/tabulate-intersection.htm would be the ideal tool for the land cover details per LSOA.

2. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/analysis-toolbox/tabulate-intersection.htm again would accomplish this simply.  a spatial join can also be used https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/analysis-toolbox/spatial-join.htm but I'd just stick with tabulate intersection.
