Kriging tool is changing my data…?

Hi,

So I've been working on a soils map and I have a lot of electrical conductivity point data to work with.  I've been trying out the IDW and Kriging tools to interpolate a raster map of the soil area.  It seems to work fine, except for one thing that I don't understand.

My data ranges from ~0-100 mS/m, with two decimal places (column is in float format).  Once I run the tool and the map is created, the data is now in a range of 0-10.  For some reason the decimal point has been shifted on all the data 10 or greater (e.g. 59.2 becomes 5.92, 13.4 become 1.34, etc.).

I'm not sure what to think of this or why this is happening?  Is it supposed to do this?

Hope someone can help!

Lindsay
