The Latest Updates

Create beautiful stories and easily collaborate with the recent updates to ArcGIS StoryMaps:

Table Block — Build tables that seamlessly match the theme of your story directly in the editor. Save time and improve accessibility with the new table block.

Copy Any Story  — With new advanced publish options, you can now choose whether you want to allow other ArcGIS StoryMaps users to duplicate your story so they can match the same look and feel.

Fit an Inline Image to Screen — Instead of having your audience scroll to view the entirety of a vertically oriented image, creators now have the option to set an inline image to conform to the height of the screen or browser window in which it's being viewed.

Briefings Has Landed!

Synthesize critical information and maintain mission readiness with briefings, a new slide-based presentation style now available in beta in ArcGIS StoryMaps. Make data-driven decisions and provide meaningful context to your audience by infusing your presentations with real-time data and dynamic maps. Briefings also allow you to unify images, videos, and other multimedia in your presentation to create a cohesive experience for both you and your viewers.

Example use cases include on-the-ground disaster briefings, budget numbers presented in real-time, and daily leadership briefings. After the briefings mobile app launches in September, you’ll be able to securely connect with your stakeholders wherever they are with a tablet app that works on- and offline.

Try briefings in beta now in ArcGIS Online. In the coming months, we will be periodically adding capabilities to make your briefings even more engaging. Briefings will also be a new feature in ArcGIS StoryMaps in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.2, releasing later this year.
