Resize map tour points that are clustered super close together?

Hey everyone,
Trying to figure out how to make this initial extent look less cluttered. I need to be able to see everything in this view, including the water that doesn't have points on it, for context. I would like to resize the points so they don't overlap and look so awful. Alternately, it would be cool if I could resize the map itself so it took up a BIT more space of the side bar, I think that would also fix the problem. Not sure if there is a developer way to hack into Story Maps? I don't code but I would be open to figuring it out if it would help my issue!!
I did try the map centric view vs data centric also btw, which would fix the problem, but I like the data centric view better for what I'm working on.
