We have recently come across an issue trying to use the Survey123 Field App on Windows where the 'Location Inaccessible' error message repeatedly pops up due to issues with how it accesses the location on our VDI machines. The app has permissions, thinks it can get the location, can't, but then keeps trying to refresh it because it thinks it should have access, rendering the app unusable with an endless pop up loop.
Our workaround is basically going to be setting the virtual desktop image to have location access turned off by default, this still gives us the 'Location Inaccessible' pop up, but only once, and then the app can be used normally.
What I would like to see implemented is just having the option to turn off the need for location in the desktop version of the Field App as honestly, a lot of the time on a physical machine it's not needed. This might be best served by adding it as an optional registry setting that can be modified and pushed out by the organization, or even an option in the settings of the app itself (though I think the registry option would be more helpful in our virtualized environment circumstances).
