Lost draw functionality after publishing survey

I'm attempting to publish a survey with inbox mode enabled with a field with the following parameters:

  • type=image
  • appearance=draw
  • default=myphoto.jpg

I can draw on the images fine in Connect but when I publish the survey and load a survey from the desktop client or Survey123 app, it only shows the label.  Any ideas?

Thanks for your post, we have identified with issue as a bug introduced in the 3.0 release, and will be working to fix it as soon as possible. I have added your comments and feedback to the issue and will keep you updated when we are ready to release the update to fix it.

Are there any work-arounds?

I'm using v 2.8.4 by the way.

Hi John,

There are currently no workarounds, although you can simply the delete the current image entry in the app (select the read trash can), and then select a new draw or annotate using the button, and it will apply the default image.

We are planning to release a hotfix for this issue soon.
