I have an issue with a Date field from the Feature Layer (hosted) created with Survey123.

Selecting Update Data > Append Data to Layer uploading the data from an Excel file (xls or xlsx), then viewing the field named “OA Date” of Date type, in ArcGIS Online. The date value changes a date before.

For example:

Excel (xls or xlsx) – Update Data

Feature Layer (hosted)

Field: OA Date

Field: OA Date

 14/04/2023

13/04/2023

Please anybody can help me on this?

This is because the time is converted to UTC when stored in AGOL.  If there is no time given it defaults to midnight, which then in UTC can go back a few hours, taking you to the day before.  123 now defaults to noon on date fields to help with this but when appending it just defaults to what AGOL does.  Add a time to them all of noon instead.

Hope that helps
