Hi,

Is it possible to restrict the deletion of record in the webapp, while allowing edits? If not, is it possible to track who and what was deleted?

Regards.

There are two main ways.

One is go to the survey123.arcgis.com website then the Collaborate tab

Other way is to go to the Item page for the data service then the Settings tab.

You can turn off editing in the web map also but users can still get around that in other maps or apps.

Hope that helps

Hi,

I think that I didn't explain myself well enough. What I'm looking for is a way to prevent or log deletions in the Web Application. I know I can limit what the submitters could do. This is to limit or track deletions by the people in the office using the "Data" tab of the Web application.

Image 1 below shows that I can delete one or more records if I'm the owner of the survey or a user type with the rights to edit all records. None of the settings that you indicated prevent this from happening. I want to allow edits but restrict or track deletions.

I think that this post is more related to my need:

It looks like there is not a way to prevent deletions, but only track them. Another problem is how to access the log data, as the post above indicates.

If you are the owner you can always delete I think.  Need to test as not an owner.
