In addition to being able to select spatially the records that will flow into the chart, the ability to filter the records based on attributes dynamically (similar to the query tool) prior to charting is needed. One example is selecting numerous parcels (some with the same owner name) but only wanting one or two of all of the owners selected to show up in the chart. It is too easy to have a chart with so many categories it is unreadable. I realize you can filter the overall dataset as part of the tool definition but a separate, optional space to dynamically filter out records by the user is needed as well.
