Joined Attribute Tables in LayerList

In WAB 1.3, I have added a couple map services that contain joins to attribute tables.  These attribute tables are displayed in the Layer List.  Is there a way to remove them from displaying?  I looked in the widget config and  inserted the joined table id in the "hidelayers" portion of the particular service.  The table still displays...in fact, multiple times.
