I am sure this is simple, but for the life of me I cannot find what I am looking for...
I will be out in the field and standing in place. I need to know a location 100 feet from that spot. The problem is the direction may change if I have to avoid some rocks, steep hill, etc. I am hoping that there is a way to create a 100 ft circle around the point I am standing. I would then walk to an area on the perimeter of that circle, set another point and then walk to that perimeter, etc. It certainly doesn't have to be a circle, but something that will allow me to walk to that area, keeping the 100 foot distance from my previous location.
Does this make any sense?
