Our 6000 Geo XH's interface response time starts to slow down after about 90 minutes of data collection. It seems to get slowly worse and worse. It is not awful in most cases, but it is annoying.
It does not seem to matter whether the background layers are turned off, the number of records collected or viewed is big or small, labeling is on or off, points vs. long lines are collected, domains are used, battery is/is not fully charged, file being edited is shapefile or geodb...pretty much everything you might think might be the problem does not seem to be. There is lots of free memory and we get no error messages. Turning ArcPad on and off does not help.
This smells like a Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro memory leak or related problem to me. There are lots of complaints on the Web about non-GPS WM 6 systems. Am I on the right track? I would like to stop trying to tweak ArcPad because of this problem.
