I came across a few HTML tags that seem like they could be useful when writing community posts.

The tags work when editing a post (via HTML mode), but then the functionality gets stripped out when I hit save/post.

  1. Highlight text in yellow: <mark>

  2. Keyboard shortcut keys: <kbd>

    Bud_1-1706219175336.png
  3. Start a numbered list at a specific number: <ol start="50">

    Bud_2-1706219287982.png
  4. Collapse/expand a section of text to avoid clutter: <summary>

    summary tag.gif

Could support for any of those tags be added?

@Bud, we're anticipating an upgrade to our platform later this year in which we expect to have a much improved Rich Text Editor, which may address some or all of these requests. We're holding off on customizations until after that update takes place. I'm going to update this idea to Closed, but it can be re-evaluated after the new capabilities are available.

@Bud, Our team is re-opening this idea understanding that platform updates are anticipated later this year which may or may not address the points you've expressed. We'll be happy to re-evaluate after that point, but others are welcome to vote for this with their kudos or share their own comments in the meantime if they'd like.
